Is it possible to work 2 different brand of 2way radio to work?
How can I make all radios of different brands work?
It depends. If each brand of radio works with (or can be programmed for) the same frequencies and modulation mode, then yes. Generally, the radio is usually identified by the type of radio service it was designed for. For instance, a (U.S.) CB radio made by one manufacturer will work with any other (U.S.) CB. Same with FRS radios. But a CB will not work with a FRS radio. A VHF-FM hi band radio will work with other VHF-FM hi band radios, after programming or the appropriate crystals are put in. A VHF airband radio will not work with a VHF-FM radio since the airband radio uses AM, not FM modulation. You really should specify the type of radios you are trying to get to work together.

How do i fix my uniden 2way radio?
all i hear out of it is static. No one is talking on it!
On my schedule, I run into this thing all the time. I don't get home on work nights until after midnight, so when I turn on my ham transceiver, particularly the VHF and UHF rig, and set it to scan, all I get is static. I sometimes think its the antenna or the radio, but then I remember that most people are already home, watching TV or in bed by then, so static is all there is. The HF radio may have something on it, sometimes from as far away as Italy or Spain, but the regular ordinary conversations that go on when guys are driving home from work, are no where to be found. Find someone else with a radio, that is on the same channel as you, and test it from varying distances, and see what you can hear. It will give you an idea of range, and help you get reacquainted with the squelch on your radio, so you can set it to eliminate the static, and only squawk when there's someone talking. Then if there is still a problem, come back and give us some more details, like what you may have tried to correct it, the model number, if we are going to need to track down a service manual (if we can find one online) or refer you to the company.
I need a very good 2way Radio?
I need to know, what is the best 2way Radio that can reach 30-50 Miles Range? also i need one that can scan channel so i can here other people.. Thank you so much for reading this :)
Any radio with that range would be a LICENSED RADIO and you would need a LICENSE to operate it as well as a LICENSE for the RADIO itself.
